Paul and I had been feeding the fish in this spot for 5 or 10 minutes without noticing the crocodile laying on the edge of the water. Someone walking by pointed it out to us. We came to feed the fish here so I could see the large fish that are in the water. Apparently, it is a tradition that you don't eat the fish in this river so that there will be fish for the next generation to eat. That's right...it means no generations get to eat the fish from this river! It doesn't mean though you can't eat fish from someone else's river...let their next generation not have fish!
